My dog Pancho, a Brittany Spaniel, will be six years old this coming August. I bought him at Haven Valley Kennels in the Catskill Mountains of New York from John Mannella. Pancho is the best dog you could ask for as he embodies so many great qualities that make him an awesome companion. He loves being around all people and most dogs, and he can sniff any bird up (and sometimes skunks)! He gets excited and knows when we are heading out to the Three Mile Pond Wildlife Management area, in southwest Massachusetts where we hunt, pheasant and woodcock, as well as take nice walks through the forest. He pointed his first woodcock and pheasant when he was just over one year old. His Sylmar Dogwear vest has kept him safe in the gnarly briars and thick woods. While my Model 21 Winchester 16 gauge has made many nice shots, Pancho is the one who should take credit for the birds because he hunts 'em up
