LAZY TRIPLE CREEK RANCH
The Mountain West has been a dream destination for fly-fishers and skiers since the days of silk fly lines and wooden skies. More recently it has become a prime venue for wingshooters, thanks to the development of some outstanding luxury lodges. And there’s no better example than Lazy Triple Creek Ranch, in Newdale, Idaho, about 80 miles from Jackson Hole. Situated at the base of the Tetons, the lodge offers a spectacular array of all-inclusive wingshooting on 2,200 acres along with all of the five-star trimmings one would expect from a luxury operation. From driven-style shoots impeccably conducted in the traditional manner to Western walk-up hunts behind dogs, Lazy Triple Creek has it all. There’s even a clays facility that was designed by legendary English course designer Edward “Rhoddy” Watson. And, yes, there’s access to some of the world’s best fly-fishing too!

Lazy Triple Creek Ranch was originally developed as a private shooting estate for six families living in Jackson Hole and run as a private club until Hank McKinnell bought out the other partners and opened this world-class shooting-sports venue to a few invited guests who similarly value its private, exclusive nature.
``Lazy Triple Creek Ranch is a true jewel that we recently discovered and will make a part of our hunting experience from now on. The landscape is breathtaking; the experience for us and our dog was first class. The lodge is exquisite and perfectly managed by Steve and Heidi, who go out of their way to make guests feel like welcomed members of the family. We had a fantastic day full of pheasant, adventure and great fun. Not to be missed!``
