Tree Rows Near Mott, North Dakota

My guide was working his dog to my right on the other side of the elm-tree rows planted in the "dirty thirties" to control wind-blown soil erosion. I was walking on recently harvested "no-till" wheat stubble. I took a brace of wild pheasants in this amazing place.
