“Yes, it is true,” said Longthorne Marketing Director Elaine Stewart when asked for details. “We are a fully fledged FFL and set up to import and distribute to dealers to save them the trouble. It’s just an office for now, but once things are rolling, we will look to find somewhere where we can store more stock.”
The location in the Sunshine State will speed up the importation of the company’s guns while providing customers with a more personal experience and enhancing dealer support. A short announcement on the Longthorne website reads in part: “By establishing a local presence, we aim to streamline logistics, reduce lead times, and enhance the overall efficiency of our distribution network. Our dealers will benefit from direct access to our extensive range of high-quality products, backed by the renowned craftsmanship and technical expertise that Longthorne is known for. With a focus on building stronger relationships and fostering closer collaboration, Longthorne USA LLC is poised to deliver exceptional value and support to our dealer network.”
In an update Stewart let us know: “It’s purely coincidental that Florida just happens to have great weather and beautiful beaches.”
