Wirehaired pointing griffon"Bock" and DeCoverly English setter "Cayman" found this long-forgotten house in the hills of eastern Ohio while grouse and woodcock hunting last autumn. The canine pair visited the old house again while checking out the woodcock spring migration to find daffodils blooming. One has to wonder how long ago those flower bulbs were planted and by whom? Spring woodcock "hunting" is much lighter — without the Parker side-by-side!
Beautiful picture, with a beautiful story.
