MILFORD HILLS HUNT CLUB

Nestled midway between the cities of Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a 500-square-mile rural gem called Jefferson County. This remote span of classic farmland is home to Milford Hills, one of the finest shooting resorts in the Upper Midwest. The full-service establishment specializes in premium upland hunts for hard-flying pheasants, chukars and quail, and guests experience bird numbers, dogwork, habitat, hospitality and amenities that are on par with some of the best shooting resorts in America. In a region that offers few upscale bird hunting venues, Millford Hills shines brightly as the resort of choice for discerning wingshooters.

Notes

Having a car during one’s stay is recommended, as the overnight lodge on the property is located a short drive from the main Clubhouse and dining facility.

The pet-friendly lodge allows hunting dogs to stay indoors during the day/night and offers individual kennels for smaller dogs.

Milford Hills offers two 12-station sporting clays courses and a Five Stand from early Spring to late Fall. The facilities are excellent for hosting NSCA registered shoots, fundraisers and corporate events.

``Milford Hills has worked hard to create the best bird habitat in the region, and that really has had a wonderful impact on the quality of the hunting. I also appreciate the extremely high level of respect they have for their guests! They have a great way of making you feel like a valued patron.``

    Millford Hills,
As a Pediatrician in town I have had many families who enjoy your offerings and have referred many as well. You have a great outlet. I have not been active in the sportsman’s clubs in the area although I am an avid hunter and outdoors person, however, I have been on a few hunts and attended other events at Milford Hills. I do most of my hunting up north.
I am a board member of Kanati, an outdoors group with a learn to hunt focus, as well as other events throughout the year.
Basically we take people who want to learn to hunt and offer them a one on one guide to turkey or deer hunt at no or little charge.
We are having a wild game dinner to raise money to expand our Learn to Hunt Program and support our scholarship fund for kids going into careers such as Forestry, Land conservation, Ecology, Game Warden etc.
our event is Feb 20, 2025 and will feature Wild Game ( Elk, Wild Boar, White tail, Pheasant, Duck, etc) in small plates to try and learn more how to prepare wild game. Of course there are prizes and raffles and a chance to win a Bow Fishing excursion and a Pheasant hunt at Rock Bend Farm.
    More info at Kanati.org
I’m sending message to see if there is anyone in your organization who would like to attend or if you would be willing to post the event on your website or physically in your lobby area.
If you are interested, LMK and I can forward an event sheet.
