Gamebirds: Bobwhite quail

Style: Walk-up over SunSage pointers, shorthairs and cockers

Terrain: Lightly rolling hills, longleaf pines and native grasses

Location: Central Georgia, 95 miles east of Atlanta

Lodging: Main lodge and four private guest lodges

Dining: Chef-prepared meals in a quaint-yet-luxurious dining room

Nearest Commercial Airport: Atlanta, Athens and Augusta, Georgia

Nearest Private Airport: Green County, Georgia

What to Bring

Clothing: Light brush pants, shooting vest, upland or hiking boots

Guns: .410 - 20-gauge (rental guns available at the lodge)

Ammo: #8, #9 shot (ammunition available at the lodge)

Chokes: Cylinder and Improved Cylinder
