We received this great, light-dappled photo from long-time Detroit-area subscriber John Frederick, who said it shows him enjoying a duck hunt with friends on his 80th birthday. He wrote in an e-mail, "Normally I am not this vain but lots of pressure from me hunting pals forced the issue. The attractiveness of the photo surely is not me, but the setting and the colors. Nonetheless, after 43 years hunting, what greater gift could there be for an old timer on his 80th birthday?"
