Our annual hunt on some private property near Presho, South Dakota. We have rented the same farm house rented every year for the opener since the 1980’s. The preseason prediction/forecasted bird count was so bad, the owner we rent from asked if we wanted to skip a year (and ensured us we would not lose our spot for opening weekend the following year).
We said "No, we always have fun so we're coming anyway". Thankfully we did, we had one of the best years ever. Here we are with our limit (all wild birds) opening day.
