Pheasants are the most frequently harvested bird at Primland. The resort’s most popular hunt packages include its Upland Wing walk-up hunt and its authentic, English-style driven-bird shoot. Guests can also hunt chukars and quail or chase wild turkeys during the limited season from mid-April to mid-May. With seven full-time guides plus three or four seasonal guides available, hunters have no difficulty getting out after their birds of choice.

The pet-friendly accommodations at Primland are a great reason for wingshooters to bring their own dogs. Alternatively, hunters can enjoy the fine pointing and retrieving skills demonstrated by the 50 well-trained dogs (mainly Elhew pointers and German shorthaired pointers) in Primland’s kennel.

The main lodge at Primland spans 72,000 square feet and includes amazing features and appointments—one of which is the incredible Great Hall with its twin fireplaces. Primland also has a two-story wine room, luxuriously appointed bedrooms and suites, and a world-class golf course.

All guests will find plenty of entertaining options at Primland’s on-site Activity Center, which serves as a starting point for many outdoor activities, such as sporting clays, guided fly-fishing, RTV tours and horseback riding. The Activity Center also includes a retail shop that features clothing and merchandise by numerous outdoor brands.
