JCR has grown every year since 1990, with generous owners (Joe & Ann Kercheville) who continually invest in new facilities, activities, amenities and staff. The ranch has emerged from being a “well-kept secret” to being one of the most well-known and highest-volume sporting resorts in the world.
Joshua Creek Ranch comprises more than 1,400 acres and provides more than 24,000 square feet of lodging that includes lodge-style rooms, suites, private cottages and full ranch houses.
While JCR is a wingshooter’s paradise, the ranch also runs a summer resort business that offers lodging, dining, sporting clays, fly-fishing, kayaking and other water recreation on Joshua Creek, the Guadalupe River and its resort-style pool.
As a bonus, a lot of tourist attractions can be found less than 45 minutes away in the renowned Texas Hill Country, and other popular day trips include Six Flags/Fiesta Texas, Sea World, San Antonio Riverwalk, Luckenbach, Fredericksburg, Canyon Lake, Medina Lake, Cave Without a Name and more than 100 wineries, distilleries and breweries.
