WINGHAVEN LODGE
Bluegrass music, fine bourbon and mouth-watering Southern cuisine are part and parcel of Kentucky culture, and they are among the many amenities at Winghaven Lodge. First and foremost, however, is great quail hunting. The team at Winghaven works tirelessly to ensure that its 3,000 acres of prime upland habitat are laden with hard-flying bobwhites. Talented, personable guides handle seasoned, well-trained pointing dogs on what many consider one of the best no-limit quail hunts in America. Also on offer are challenging combination hunts for bobwhites, pheasants and chukars as well as flooded-timber waterfowling. After the hunt, guests enjoy Winghaven’s trademark hospitality—the warmth and attentiveness of the staff reflected throughout the beautiful lodge and spacious rooms. Add to that country gourmet dining and a selection of some of Kentucky’s finest single-barrel bourbons, and it’s easy to understand why wingshooters from across the country consider Winghaven their old Kentucky home.
