I'm curious why the 16 gauge????  Had a model 11 about 55 years ago, gave it to my brother in law....

Once a man, twice a child....

Personal tradition, esthetically pleasing, oddly sufficient, the new next, grins...........and so on?

Lucky brother-in-law.

I had a model 11 in 16 gauge.  28" modified choke barrel.  Classic pheasant gun Americana.  No pheasants here, sadly.  Sold it to Dave Erickson who had it completely refinished and has carried it in good pheasant country, 1 000 miles from here.   Great gun rescue story.  Ever had a good gun that just needed a better owner?
