A New Gunshop in Nashville
A varied inventory, including Blaser and Krieghoff, located on a shooting ground allows customers to try before buying.

Fans of fine guns had something to celebrate recently with the opening of Double Guns of Nashville, a gunshop located on the grounds of the Nashville Gun Club. The grand-opening celebration took place in mid-November, with special guest Dieter Krieghoff of Krieghoff International on hand to answer questions and assist in selecting guns.

Double Guns of Nashville was founded by longtime friends Barry Rich and Terry Hetrick. Rich is a lifelong hunter who recently retired from banking, whereas Hetrick has been a shooting instructor for more than 20 years and very involved with introducing young people to the shooting sports through the Scholastic Clay Target Program. Both men share a passion for fine guns and wingshooting and saw a need for a business catering to those pursuits.

The shop carries a variety of new and used firearms, including offerings from Beretta, Blaser, Browning, Krieghoff, Grulla, Kolar, Mauser, Rigby, B. Rizzini, Sauer and Verney-Carron. A large inventory allows shooters to demo different guns at the range to determine exactly what they want. Lines of clothing and accouterments for both men and women are by Barbour, Boyt and Bob Allen.

Also on offer is shooting instruction through the Terry Hetrick Shooting School. Hetrick works with shooters of all skill levels and will teach everything from competitive clay shooting to hunting basics.
