By entering a Shooting Sportsman contest you confirm acceptance of the following contest rules. Other rules may apply.
How to Enter: From 8:00 AM (EDT) on January 5, 2023 to 5:00 PM (EDT) on February 25, 2023, Contestants may enter the Contest by completing the following:
- Sign up at the Shooting Sportsman booth at the Dallas Safari Show and the Safari Club International convention where prize is displayed.
- Entering their full name and email address online at shootingsportsman.com/1817.
One (1) Entry per Contestants. Contestants agree to the Contest Rules and Guidelines by submitting an Entry, successfully or otherwise. Failure to follow the terms and conditions of use will automatically invalidate a Contestant’s Entry.
Eligibility: Contestants are eligible to enter the Contest if they are United States residents, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, and they submit a valid Entry. Entries are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Shooting Sportsman reserves the sole right to determine an Entry’s eligibility. Employees of Shooting Sportsman or Sponsor(s); their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers or retailers; advertising, production and promotion agencies; the independent judging organization; and immediate family members are not eligible.
Winner Selection: The winning Entry will be selected from all eligible Entries by Shooting Sportsman Magazine. Winner will be notified by e-mail at the e-mail address with which they entered the Contest. If any prize notification letter, e-mail notification, message or prize is returned as undeliverable or is not acknowledged within 48 hours, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Winners are required to provide name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number and other information in order to fulfill the award. Winners are responsible for all tax filings and costs. All Shooting Sportsman decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest.
Prize: The prize is guaranteed to be awarded, assuming sufficient number of Entries. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name, hometown and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation.
Other Rules and Restrictions:
Entrants represent and warrant that the Entry email is their own, it has not been copied from others, and it does not violate the rights of any other person or entity. The Contestant grants Shooting Sportsman Magazine and Sponsor(s) an irrevocable worldwide right to the Entry materials, in any form, for any purpose in connection with this Contest without compensation or attribution. All Entry materials become the property of Shooting Sportsman and Sponsor(s) and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Shooting Sportsman or Sponsor(s), their employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, dealers or retailers; advertising, production and promotion agencies; the independent judging organization; and immediate family members are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete or misdirected Entries or communications or for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information. Shooting Sportsman Magazine reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or cancel this Contest at any time for any reason or no reason at all.
Participant agrees that Shooting Sportsman Magazine or Sponsor(s) will not be responsible or liable for any injuries, damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages to persons, including death, or to property, arising out of this promotion. Further, prize Sponsor(s) shall not be responsible or liable for any cancellations, delays, diversions or changes in prizes or prize amounts or for any other accommodations or substitutions of any form. Prize Sponsor(s) shall not be responsible or liable for any acts or omissions by the Sponsor(s), its agents or any third parties or for any resulting injuries, including money damages, costs and expenses; property damages; personal injuries or death resulting from the acceptance or use of the prize hereunder or participation in this promotion.
CONTESTANT AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS SHOOTING SPORTSMAN MAGAZINE, ITS AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS, SPONSORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND JUDGING INDIVIDUAL ORGANIZATIONS FROM ALL ACTIONS, SUITS, PROCEEDINGS OR OTHER CHARGES RESULTING FROM HIS/HER ENTRY.
All claims and disputes arising under or relating to this Agreement are to be settled by binding arbitration in the state of Maine or another location mutually agreeable to the parties. An award of arbitration may be confirmed in a court of competent jurisdiction.
