Boy Scouts of America 2009 Invitational Sporting Clays Shoot
First Annual Boy Scouts of America Sporting Clays Shoot August 8th will be a day to remember.
The prestigious and exclusive Lazy Triple Creek Ranch has opened its doors to the First Annual BSA shoot for the Grand Teton Council of Idaho and Wyoming.
The ranch is located east of Rexburg off highway 33.
With your help, we hope to raise between $50,000 and $100,000 for the Boy Scouts of America Grand Teton Council.
On August 7th, starting at 6:00PM, there will be a reception and party at the Teton Toyota dealership in Idaho Falls. There will be free refreshments, snacks along with free beer and wine during the gala. There will be live and silent auctions during the evening. Some items will have a value of over $15,000. There will be hunts, equipment, shot shells, art, shooting accessories and many other items that will be up for auction.
The shoot is limited to the first 120 shooters who sign up. Teams of four shooters will be formed from the list of registered shooters. Twelve gauge shotshells are being provided by Nobel Sport at no charge to the shooters.
You can shoot a smaller gauge if you would like, but you would have to bring your own shotshells. If you shoot a smaller gauge, you will be reimbursed with 12 gauge shotshells.
It will be a full 100 target 14 station sporting clays course that will be fun and enjoyable. It will be a non registered shoot, but NSCA rules will apply.
There will be prizes for the first three place teams. Aside from the shoot, there will be opportunities to shoot on some of the other unique facilities that are offered at Lazy Triple Creek Ranch.
Aside from the traditional trap and skeet, they also have a unique 5-stand, and grouse butt sequence available.
This private facility offers a once in a lifetime experience for the novice or experienced shooter and shouldn’t be missed. If we have a full morning and afternoon flight of fourteen teams each, free refreshments will be served at lunch time.
